Leopard Geckos have been captive bred pets for many years. As a matter of fact, they are one of the easiest starter reptiles for anyone and can be found in every pet store. They come in standard "Normal" colors and in recent years have been bred to show a vast amount of different colors (called morphs); and more morphs are being discovered every year!
Before all these Leopard Gecko morphs were discovered, Leopard Geckos were only available in the Normal morph which later developed the second morph available, the High Yellow morph. These were the only two morphs available for a while until morphs were discovered like the Albino, Murphy Patternless, Blizzard, Raptor, Enigma and much much more. See our Leopard Gecko Morphs page to see all discovered morphs.

Breeding Leopard Geckos
Breeding Leopard Geckos is not difficult, as a matter of fact, there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Given a chance, most males and females will breed on their own given that it is breeding season. The breeding timeframe for Leopard Geckos is the beginning of Spring to Fall, approximately February through September. Most Leos will stop breeding by this time and most breeders will hatch their last eggs in October or November. Read full article...
Leopard Gecko Genetics

I'll try to be as simple as possible without using large words that require a biology book (and to save you a headache) but if there are any, I will explain in short detail to give a better understanding. Breeding Mealworms
I see so many questions on many different forums asking about breeding mealworms; and though there are many websites online that explain the process, I thought I’d make an instructional guide myself. I’d like to mention that there are several ways of doing pretty much anything, and there’s no exception when it comes to breeding mealworms. This is the way I’ve done it, and has worked for me. Others may wish to change enclosure sizes, types, etc. which of course is ok. Read full article...
